The Times Union is a daily online and print news publication that covers New York State’s Capital Region. I cover laws impacting local businesses, the fluctuations of the farm industry, unique business endeavors, and New York State’s newly legalized and tumultuous cannabis industry. Though I’m on the business desk, I also write about the negotiations with the Albany Med nurses union, opioid relief efforts, and local community organizing.
